Tai buvo vienas iš breakin' renginių, kuriuose sudalyvauti reikia / This was one of those breakin' events where taking part is a must!

LT. Tai jau antras renginys per savaitę, kuriame buvau. Organizacija išties gana prasta (Urbandance irgi būna "ištemptas", bet BOE turėtų ko pasimokyti). 15 minučių pertraukėlės virto pusvalandžiais, o kai kurios kovos penktadienį, t.y. 21 d. tesėsi iki 02:00! Suprantama, stoję kovoti prieš Daugpilio komandą ~ 00:30 pralaimėjome ne dėl to - nepasisekė vienas sinchronas, be to, sakyčiau, pritrūko patirties ir sėkmės :) Šokome išties neblogai! Lau varė 1 vs 1 b-boyin' ir baigė šokti ketvirtfinalyje pralaijmėjęs būsimam nugalėtojui, o Kenny (puikus žmogus iš Kauno!) taip pat pralaimėjo bboyin' ketvirtfinalyje bei poppin' pusfinalyje, nors, atvirai pasakius, nemanau, kad kas nors poppin'o geriau už jį (teisėjai?)! Abu išties puikiai pasirodė. Iš kviestų komandų man labiausiai patiko ,,Zames Crew" iš Kaliningrado (jie laimėjo komandų turnyrą) ir ,,Hustle Kids" iš Olandijos, nors šie kovėsi tik trise ir neturėjo daug šansų. Visos kitos komandos taip pat buvo geros ir šoko įdomiai (pvz., "Old friends", Est). Renginyje, mano nuomone, trūko ratelių, draugiškų skatinimų eiti šokti, bet man vistiek patiko :) Pirmą naktį nakvojome trijuose kambariuose ant žemės, už 5 Eurus ir su visais šokėjais, kurie niekaip nenorėjo eiti miegoti, todėl antrą naktį nusprendėme nebenakvoti ir apie 5:00 sekmadienį jau buvome namie! :) Tad tiek. Beje, Tartu - labai gražus miestas su dideliu universitetu ir fantastišku mažučiu senamiesčiu!

EN. It was second dancing event during one week where I took part. The way things were organized surprised not only me (Urbandance is always clumzy but BOE could still learn a lot from them :). 15 minute breaks somehow were transformed into 1/2h or longer, some battles started even after 1:30 a.m. at night and after 7 hours of driving + another 7 hours inside the hall it wasn't funny anymore :) Sure, we didn't loose against Daugavpils team because the battle started late :) We messed up a bit in one synchro and lacked luck, maybe experience too, but to conclude we danced well! Lau took part in 1vs1 b-boyin' and lost in the qfinals against the future 1st place winner and Kenny (a cool guy from Kaunas) lost b-boyin' in qfinal and poppin' in the sfinal, although I personally don't think that anyone popped better than him (judges?). Guys, you both were dope, we're with you! :) I liked "Zames Crew" and "Hustle Kids" the most among invited crews but HK had only three dancers and two others just showing off behind and didn't have real chances to win :) All other teams danced well ("Old friends" from Estonia were on fire) but whole event lacked hospitality, circles to dance and encouraging each other. Anyway, I liked it (maybe because I am always positive and like everything). We have spent the first night at the hostel with other 50 dancers sleeping on the floor for EUR5 but seemded that there were only us who tried to sleep so we have decided not to stay for the other night and came back home at 5 a.m. on Sunday. So this was it. BTW, Tartu is a wonderful-calm town with its big university and fantastic small oldtown!
