LT. Daugelis nesupranta, kodėl tai darau. Vieni tik šypsosi, o kiti net ir pabara, galvodami, kad man „ne visi namie". Bet juk... visa tai yra apie universalias vertybes: draugystę, bendrumo jausmą, toleranciją ir pagalbą, svajones, dvasinę ir fizinę stiprybę, harmoniją, širdies šventę. Taip, būtent su šiomis vertybėmis man asocijuojasi kelionės. Ir gyvenimas. Jei nebūsite draugiški, neveiksite kartu, nepagelbėsite vienas kitam – nepasieksite tikslo. Jei nesvajosite, jūsų dienos bus tik „techniškai" nugyventos, akyse nebus ugnies, o pasaulis bus bespalvis. Jei nesiveršite pažinti, niekada nepamatysite, kad už „kitos ar dar kitos kalvos" gali egzistuoti kitas pasaulis. Jei nesuvoksite savęs esančio neatsiejama gamtos ir aplinkos dalimi, mesite „šiukšles", kurios galiausiai vis tiek pas jus sugrįš ir jus nuodys. Jei nebus taip, kad neteksite vandens, maisto, šilumos, elektros, jei nenutolsite nuo namų ir artimųjų, jūs taip niekada galite ir nesuprasti, ką jie iš tikrųjų reiškia. Jei savo tautos ar artimųjų šventė jums nėra šventė, ir jūs jiems su džiaugsmu širdyje nekeliate vėliavų, tada jūs esate vienas, nors galbūt ir pats to nežinote. Kaip sakė vienas garsus keliautojas „Yra turistai ir yra keliautojai, tyrinėtojai". Kaip kelionėse, taip ir gyvenime. O kuo norite būti jūs? Kelionė per Kuršių Neriją žiemą... esu labai dėkingas visiems mus palaikiusiems ir, pirma, Donatui su Sigitu. Taip, per šią kelionę aš vėl buvau visiškai pasinėręs į tas vertybes, mano siela apsivalė, širdyje gyveno šventė, o šaltis sušildė. Ar gali taip būti? Pasižiūrėkite apačioje. Vėliau bus ir filmas. EN. Most of the people I know don’t understand why I do this? Some just smile thinking "you’re nuts", others scold. But in the end… all of that is about most universal values: fellowship, being together, tolerance and help, dreams, physical and spiritual stamina, harmony, and feast in your heart. Yes, exactly. These values. Same in your journeys as in your life. If you are not friendly, not rushing to help, not a team-worker, goals might never be achieved. If you don’t dream, your days will be just "technically" lived and there will be no fire in your eyes, your world will be monochrome. If you don’t feel passion for knowledge and there is no inquisitiveness in you, you will never find out that there might be a different world behind the next or yet another hill. If you don’t recognize yourself being a vital part of your environment and nature, you will "litter" and in the end that litter will come back and poison you and others. If you never felt a lack of water, food, warmth, electricity, if you have never been further away from home and your loved ones you might never know what these things or people really mean to you. If your compatriots’ feast is not your feast and if you do not raise flags for them with joy in your heart, then probably you are alone in this world, which you might not even know. Like one famous traveler once said, "There are tourists and there are explorers". Same in life. Which one do you want to be or become? Trek over Curonian Spit in winter… I am very thankful to all who supported me, first place – Donatas and Sigis. It was all about these values again. My soul purified, my heart in feast.
